Welche Tiere leben im Dschungel?
Ein Sachbuch kann bei der Suche hilfreich sein. Die Kinder basteln nun Dschungeltier-Masken. Ein Känguru, ein Elefant, ein Kakadu und ein kleines Äffchen sollen vertreten sein.
Nun stellen sich die "Dschungeltiere" im Kreis auf. Hat sich da ein Tier in den Dschungel verirrt? Welches?
1. Strophe: Das Känguru hüpft um den Kreis herum und singt: I am a kangaroo. I’m looking for a friend. I’m skipping in a circle now. I’m looking for a friend. Es sucht sich ein "Dschungeltier" als Freund und fragt: Won’t you be my best friend? Won’t you come with me? Gemeinsam hüpfen beide in der Kreismitte herum und singen: We are skipping in a circle now, together it’s much fun. Refrain: Yeah, yeah, yeah … singen alle mit.
2.-5. Strophe: Dann sucht sich der Elefant einen Freund aus usw. Die Tiere bewegen sich entsprechend dem Liedtext (stamping, crawling, flying, jumping). Den Refrain können die Kinder mit Bongo, Cabasa (Kettenrassel), Rührtrommel und Rasseln begleiten. Dabei entsteht eine richtige Dschungelatmosphäre!
